Mitigation Field Supervisor
Our client is seeking a Mitigation Field Supervisor to join their franchise organization, which provides cleanup and repair services for residential and commercial properties damaged by water, fire, mold, storms, or other disasters. The Mitigation Field Supervisor oversees field operations for water, fire, and mold projects, handling job scoping, crew coordination, and documentation. This role requires strong problem-solving, customer communication, and the ability to work with insurance adjusters. Candidates must be IICRC-certified (Water, Mold, Fire) and proficient with DASH, MIC, and Xactimate. Responsibilities also include equipment tracking and vehicle upkeep. Job Responsibilities
Scope and document mitigation jobs accurately and thoroughly using systems such as DASH and MICA Coordinate field crews, manage job takedowns, and ensure proper documentation is completed Serve as a key point of contact for insurance adjusters, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism Maintain strong communication with customers, providing updates and setting expectations with clarity and care Represent the company in the field with strong people skills and professional email communication Track and maintain all mitigation equipment and ensure tech vehicles are clean, stocked, and properly serviced Troubleshoot challenges on the job and keep projects progressing efficiently Utilize RMS, Xactimate, and other relevant software to manage documentation and reporting Maintain active IICRC certifications in Water (WRT), Mold (AMRT), and Fire/Smoke Restoration (FSRT preferred) Supervise approximately 3 techs, with crews varying by project Qualifications
Proven background in the restoration industry; industry certifications required Field leadership experience; must be comfortable leading crews and actively working on-site Demonstrated ability to be hyper-aggressive and persistent when driving tasks and timelines Maintains discipline and urgency while using tact and professionalism Composed and calm under pressure; thrives in high-stress, fast-moving environments No tolerance for drama; promotes a focused, team-oriented work culture Must be reactive and quick to respond to changing job needs and site conditions Exceptional communicator, both verbally and in writing Tech-savvy, especially with restoration documentation tools and systems (e.g., DryTrack, MICA, DASH, X) Strong team player who collaborates closely with the Owner, Project Coordinator, and other team members Willingness to share on-call duties as part of the rotation Compensation & Benefits
