The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard provides trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral health services in a spiritually and culturally responsive environment. We are committed to offering hope, choice, and integrity through a full continuum of care. We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Budget Manager to lead our financial planning and budget development processes. The Budget Manager oversees budgeting functions across the organization. This includes developing annual and capital budgets, managing financial forecasts, analyzing performance, and partnering with leadership to ensure fiscal accountability. This role reports directly to the CFO. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets Oversee quarterly financial forecasting for departments, programs, and service lines Analyze financial data and report on budget vs. actual performance Create and maintain financial models and data tracking systems Monitor position control and manage cost allocations Prepare variance reports and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth Develop budgets for new programs and proposals Support the CFO on financial strategy and process improvement initiatives Create and distribute financial dashboards and reports Lead workshops and training courses on budget procedures for department heads Ensure compliance with internal policies and grant requirements Perform other finance-related duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required Minimum 5 years of experience in budgeting and financial analysis Prior experience in hospital or behavioral health settings preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and formulas) Strong knowledge of forecasting, cost analysis, and accounting principles Familiarity with ADP systems is highly preferred Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Bilingual capabilities are a plus ADA & Work Conditions: Must be able to communicate effectively in person and by phone Requires manual dexterity to enter data and use a computer May be required to sit, stand, walk, or lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally Exposure to hospital settings and general office conditions is expected
