What You'll Do: Act as a fighter aircraft role player during Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) events, supporting integration training for U.S. and allied fighter aircrew, Air Battle Managers, and JTACs. Execute dynamic training scenarios using Combat Environment Server (CES), Next Generation Threat System (NGTS), and/or Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE) platforms. Develop and deliver mission planning materials, briefs, and debriefs for Large Force Exercises (LFEs) and Small Team events. Stay up to date on adversary capabilities, tactics, and techniques by reviewing AFTTP 3-1 manuals, flash bulletins, and other tactical publications. Support exercise planning conferences (e.g., RED FLAG), collaborating with units to incorporate training objectives into CAF DTC scenarios. Contribute subject matter expertise to doctrine development, training scenario design, and after-action reviews for combat air force simulations and exercises. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree + 9 years of experience OR Master's + 7 years OR PhD + 4 years Former Fighter Pilot, Weapon Systems Officer (WSO), Combat Systems Officer (CSO), or Naval Flight Officer (NFO) from one of the following aircraft: F-15C, F-15E, F-16C, F/A-18, EA-18G, F-22, F-35 Operational experience within the last 10 years, including simulator-based experience In-depth knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 fighter employment or equivalent joint service manuals Strong background in mission planning, tactical integration, and joint operations Ability to plan, brief, execute, and debrief air-to-air and air-to-ground training missions Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI and SAP/SAR access Preferred Qualifications: Mission Commander qualified Previous experience as an Instructor Pilot, WSO, CSO, or NFO Expertise in 5th Generation fighter integration and employment Possession of an active Top Secret clearance Familiarity with multi-domain operations, virtual training architectures, or Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) simulation environments If this sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
