Concierge Position
To professionally assist members and guests with requests they have from day to day. Have the capability to provide information about the Club, the amenities, and local area attractions and offer solutions or recommendations tailored to members and guests. All interactions (in-person, over the phone, or email) are expected to be conducted in a positive manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets all members and guests in an outgoing and energetic fashion. Book reservations including but limited to: Transportation, Dining, Sporting Events, Events on Property, Excursions, and day to day needs. Concierge services include but are not limited to sourcing exclusive items and events for members and guests. Have a constant pulse on local activities, events, traditions, and programming going on within the club and surrounding communities. Make travel arrangements for sightseeing and other tours. Perform office duties on a temporary basis when needed. Coordinate grocery orders and other specific member and guest needs. Provide individuals or small parties with dedicated concierge services for the duration of their activities. Understand Club policy and procedure and how best to apply these when assisting the members and guests. Work in tandem with Dining Reservations, Lodging Reservations, Front Desk, Retail Outlets, Recreation & Sporting Outlets, and all dining outlets to provide full service concierge to all members and guests. Managing reservations as necessary for accommodations, transportation, dining, spa, golf, tennis, etc. Provide members and guests with activity schedule, itinerary, and/or individual confirmations as requested. Assist Members/Guests with all special requests and requirements (i.e. ordering flowers, amenities, cakes, etc.) Provide assistance to Bell stand or Front Desk as necessary to ensure concierge remains top priority. Manage & Distribute the babysitter & pet sitter list for members and guests. Keep the concierge desk organized and well maintained. Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Basic computer skills preferred: CLS, Windows, MS Word, Outlook, and/or Excel. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and work well under pressure. Must be able to handle multiple projects at any given time. Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma required. Minimum two years' experience in the private club, large hotel, or resort, preferred. It is desired for you to have first-hand knowledge of Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Language:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in the English. Physical Demands:

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Ocean Reef Club from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry and report deadlines, associate may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of the Club and report deadlines. Proper grooming is required by all associates and is described in detail in the Associates Handbook. Associates should review this policy and make sure that at all times they present themselves for shifts looking clean, neat, and professional. As a condition of employment, all associates agree to fully comply with Ocean Reef Club rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of Club facilities. Associates who violate Club rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
