The advertised hiring range for Business Tech Analyst I is $70,000 - $87,500, with a maximum opportunity of up to $105,000 with tenure and strong performance. The advertised hiring range for Business Tech Analyst II is $82,960 - $103,700, with a maximum opportunity of up to $124,440 with tenure and strong performance. The advertised hiring range for Business Tech Analyst Senior is $104,240 - $130,300, with a maximum opportunity of up to $156,360 with tenure and strong performance. The advertised hiring range for Business Tech Analyst Principal is $125,840 - $157,300, with a maximum opportunity of up to $188,760 with tenure and strong performance. Introductory Period: New employees holding regular positions must complete an introductory period of twelve months. Overview The Business Technology Analyst I assists in the implementation, maintenance and support of a portfolio of integrated technology solutions, business processes, data models, and business intelligence reports that optimize and improve business operations within a specific business vertical or value stream. This entry-level role supports the District by analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing business solutions primarily within the configuration tools native to the application platforms. Solution delivery centers on leveraging configuration tools to extend core system functionality, automate process workflows, and customize user experiences while ensuring all development activities adhere to established IT governance and release management practices. The position supports organizational objectives by analyzing business needs, mapping and optimizing processes, and managing a portfolio of technology solutions and data models. Solutions are developed to be operationally reliable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and business priorities. Responsibilities include partnering with experienced team members and stakeholders to gather requirements, document business processes, system configuration, BI report development, and post-implementation support. This entry-level role is expected to develop business acumen and gain technical expertise to deliver solutions that enhance operational effectiveness, drive productivity, and support cross-functional collaboration across the organization. Responsibilities Systems Analysis and Support - Assist with the review and documentation of business software application functionality and performance under the guidance of more experienced analysts. Respond to basic user inquiries and provide first-level troubleshooting support; escalate complex issues to senior staff as appropriate.
