Certified Nurse Midwife
Ascension St. Vincent's is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife for our OB/GYN Program. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent's to provide medical services to patients. Responsibilities include providing independent and collaborative primary healthcare and management of care to women before, during and after pregnancy, including care of the newborn. Develop a comprehensive plan of care and discharge plan based on the assessment and integration of the medical plan. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Provide education/counseling to patient and patient's family with respect to pregnancy, childbirth, care of the newborn, contraception, family planning and gynecological care. Provide care in the context of promoting age and culture-appropriate informed choices, shared decision-making and the right to self-determination. About Ascension St. Vincent's Hospitals (Riverside, Southside, Clay, and St. Johns): St. Vincent's Medical Center Riverside is a 528-bed hospital founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1916. It is part of St. Vincent's HealthCare and Ascension, the nation's largest Catholic and non-profit healthcare system. St. Vincent's Riverside is home to the largest cardiovascular program between Atlanta and Orlando.
