Tire Specialist
The Tire Specialist is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, installation, and repair of tires on agricultural and heavy equipment. This role ensures that all equipment meets standards for safety, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities
Inspects tires and wheels on agricultural and heavy machinery for wear, damage, or defects Performs tire installations, rotations, balancing, and alignments according to proper guidelines Repairs and patches damaged tires safely and effectively Maintains accurate records of tire inventory, services performed Assists in ordering and managing tire inventory Collaborates with service teams to schedule routine tire inspections and maintenance Works on site, in the field and at customer locations Provides technical support and recommendations on tire selection and maintenance to customers and internally Completes thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders Accounts for billable time and assigned work orders Dealership Standards
Ensures an organized, professional workspace and maintains vehicles, tools, devices, and equipment Reports to work on time, manages time effectively, and works well independently and in groups Upholds a professional personal appearance Supports dealership customer service efforts and promotes all company departments Follows all safety protocols and procedures during service and repairs Completes required training and maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products Experience, Skills and Knowledge
Minimum 2 years of experience working with tires, preferably in agricultural or heavy equipment Knowledge of tire safety standards, installation, and maintenance procedures Ability to operate tire mounting and balancing equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) Valid Class B driver's license (or a CDL) required Valid health card or ability to attain one required Clean, insurable driving record required This job description is meant to provide a general overview of the expected tasks for this position.
