Reporting to the Executive Director of Food & Beverage, the Manager Restaurants is responsible for all aspects of the management of Serrano Vista Caf, Palms Pizza, In-Room Delivery, Mini-bar and the Butlers. They provide direction and leadership for the Assistant Managers and the Restaurant Service team consistent with the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation brand. Core Responsibilities: Owns, leads and oversees daily restaurant operations, fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution and development of marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability. Co-own (with Executive Chef) the restaurant's business plan and represent the restaurant in divisional, property or corporate meetings. Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, training programs, directives, menus, rules and regulations for the restaurant staff. Owns restaurant's execution of F&B and/or company-wide initiatives and programs. Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness within all areas of the restaurant venue. Responsible for completion of all company compliance training by the restaurant staff. Manages Human Resources responsibilities for Restaurant to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect and team member satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning process, compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements. Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience. Reacts to any guest complaints and take any appropriate action. Manages Restaurant's guest feedback channels through approved company practices. Collaborate with Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure a seamless service experience between kitchen and dining room. Maintains excellent knowledge of venue's food & beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform duties. Schedule meetings with team members to ensure correct execution of policies and procedures. Perform other job-related duties as requested. The Manager Restaurants performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and assumes other responsibilities, duties, tasks, and assignments that contribute to the mitigation or response to any public health emergency. Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Three (3) or more years of prior relevant high volume restaurant experience. Previous experience managing team members under a collective bargaining agreement preferred. Bilingual, English as the primary language. Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant, and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above. Demonstrated experience developing department goals and action plans in accordance with property and overall company goals. Physical Demands: Work is performed in a fast-paced setting. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality. May be exposed to smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Constant contact with executives, department management, team members, and guests. Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility. Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Eye/hand coordination. Use of standard office equipment. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. May be required to work evening, weekends, and holiday shifts.
