Position: Sr. Program Manager Department: Engineering Work Location: Marlborough, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite) Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Any updates to this model will be communicated in advance. Please note that hybrid eligibility and schedules may vary based on business needs and manager expectations. What you will be doing: Managing health care projects from concept to production. Work closely with a cross-functional global team. Communicate to team effectively on program planning and progress. Take a lead role in planning and managing execution of new product development, conversion project, product transfer, and product cost take out. Use New Product Development process to effectively drive program progresses. Must be an active problem solver as issues arise during the execution of the programs. Lead programs and keep multiple schedules and budgets up to date; report status of projects on a weekly basis. Responsible for program initial scoping, technical feasibility assessment, program budget. Will ensure product documentation and specifications are available to support timely procurement. Provide technical solution and guidance to team and conduct design reviews. Maintain an accessible Product History File. Skills needed to be successful in this role: Demonstrated abilities with small appliance design, manufacturing and other practices including plastic design, molding, and electrical/medical appliances. Possess pro-active attitude and provide leadership, project management and teamwork facilitation to interact with a cross-functional global team. Direct team towards achieving assigned goals and objectives. Ability to handle multiple projects and remain flexible and adaptable. Demonstrated delivery of projects within budget and schedule constraints in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Ability to collaborate with multiple global vendors and coordinate submittals, track vendor commitments on a schedule, and have oversight of delivering quality products on schedule and within budget. Strong communication skills including ability to provide concise and accurate status of projects on a weekly basis. Demonstrated troubleshooting ability to identify issues, assess technical and project alternatives and risks, and implement solutions while keeping the projects on track. Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge of small appliances. Working knowledge of UL, FDA, ISO and Design History Files. Basic knowledge of CAD.
