Machine Operator 2
The Machine Operator 2 position is responsible for performing intermediate machine operation activities within our semiconductor company. This position manages equipment operations, implements setup procedures, and maintains production standards for manufacturing processes. The role requires solid understanding of machine operation principles, technical skills, and attention to detail to effectively manage equipment operations with limited supervision. Key responsibilities include: Machine Operation (35%): Manage manufacturing equipment operation and production processes. Operate complex machinery according to detailed specifications. Monitor and control machine parameters and operational settings. Implement production throughput and efficiency improvements. Ensure adherence to established procedures and standards. Machine Setup (20%): Manage machine setup and changeover procedures. Implement tooling installations and adjustments. Develop setup verification and validation processes. Create setup documentation and reference guides. Ensure proper setup parameters and configuration standards. Quality Management (15%): Implement in-process quality control procedures. Identify quality deviations and product non-conformances. Verify product specifications and dimensional requirements. Develop quality documentation and defect reporting. Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures. Production Efficiency (10%): Manage machine efficiency and performance metrics. Implement minor equipment adjustments for optimization. Develop production rate improvements and cycle time reductions. Create efficiency tracking and documentation. Ensure maximum equipment utilization. Cross-functional Collaboration (10%): Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production planning teams. Participate actively in production meetings and shift handovers. Facilitate communication regarding equipment requirements. Gather inputs from technical staff and supervisors. Ensure alignment of machine operations with manufacturing objectives. Problem Solving (10%): Identify and resolve routine equipment and production issues. Implement troubleshooting methodologies and approaches. Develop corrective actions for operational problems. Create documentation of issues and resolutions. Ensure continuous improvement in machine operations.
