The Digital Content Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the KSL TV & KSL NewsRadio websites. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of visionary, high-quality, timely and engaging digital content while optimizing user experience and driving audience growth. Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion. This position is a hybrid role that requires the employee to sometimes work at one of our company sites. Specific hybrid schedules will be determined based on business needs and evaluated by managers and senior management. Employee will need to be on-site during the training period. What You Will Do: Content Management & SEO Analytics and Performance Optimization Content Planning and Production Team Management & Workflow Quality Control and Innovation Skills and Experience We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field--or at least two years of professional experience working in a newsroom or editorial environment. Versatile in video and audio editing, with proficiency across multiple platforms and formats (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Audition, Final Cut Pro, OpusClip). Strong journalistic foundation with experience in storytelling, news writing, and editorial judgment. Comfortable juggling multiple digital duties in a fast-paced newsroom, such as breaking news, push alerts, and social posts. Proficiency and experience in social media management. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently, establishing effective communication and working relationships with colleagues and others. Proven ability to handle stress and meet tight deadlines, including working evenings, weekends, or extended hours as needed. Professional appearance and demeanor; able to project a pleasant, business-like presence in all interactions, whether in person, by phone, or via email. Computer literate, with working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong self-motivation, organizational skills, and dependability. Ability to exercise sound judgment, understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision, and make a positive impact on departmental productivity. Physical Demands Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Lift, move, and carry up to 10 pounds on occasion. Compensation $19.00 - $25.00 an hour. Hourly rate to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
