Clay County Clerk of Court and Comptroller (FL) Depends On Qualifications Green Cove Springs, FL Full-Time Information Systems Continuous General Description Of Duties

Responsible for various aspects of Information Systems and Technology Infrastructure/Support (IS) including server, networks, database environment, backup and disaster recovery for the Clay County Clerk of Court and Comptroller's Office (Florida). Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Works in coordination with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to coordinate IS related efforts and projects. Assists with the technical support of all servers, programs and databases utilized by the Clerk's Office. Assists Clerk's Office employees with technical questions regarding Clerk's Office programs, including, but not limited to Benchmark, Landmark, Jurymark, Taxsmart and Axia. Manage multiple projects and ensure timely and accurate support of systems, project management and applications utilized by the Clerk's Office. Manages server backups and disaster recovery technology. Coordinates with technical support applications and operations staff to achieve an efficient environment that meets the Clerk's office's current and future business objectives. Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change; or where new ones need to be developed (i.e., social networking, internet usage). Researches, evaluates and recommends new technologies in coordination with the CTO. Maintains relationships with and provides feedback to outside vendors to ensure quality support, responsiveness and products. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards. Sets goals and implements action plans for the Clerk's Technology department. Assists other team members as necessary and participates on technology projects. Assists other team members with help desk support when needed. Performs related work as assigned or required by the CTO. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Extensive understanding of Dell servers, Microsoft (Server and Workstation) operating systems and related services Extensive Database Administration knowledge (SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS) Experience with cloud-based solutions (SaaS, ASP, etc.) TCP/IP and related software and services General understanding of Desktop and Help Desk functions and related software MS Office 365, including teams Authority/Judgment/Disclosure/Financial Responsibility

Authority Selections: Broad objectives are outlined. Work is judged primarily on overall results with much choice of method. Frequently develops methods to achieve desired results. Judgment Decisions: Mistakes and probable error in judgment are major, involving expenditure for equipment or serious loss of community good will, preparation and presentation of data upon which top management bases important decisions. Disclosure of Information Selections: This position involves full and complete access to reports, records, plans, and programs where utmost integrity is required to safeguard the company's interests. Financial Responsibility Selections: Has the highest budgetary limits with actions reviewed directly by the Clerk of Court and Comptroller. Education/Experience

5 years of progressively responsible experience working with all aspects of technology projects including two years of experience in an administrative, managerial, project management or executive capacity, or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, business administration or related field and 3 years of experience described above; or an equivalent combination of education, training, certifications and/or experience. High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
