Radiologic Technologist
This position is eligible to receive a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus. On-call 8 weekends a year Performs specialized diagnostic imaging examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images. Essential Functions:
Operates and maintains specialized radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Prepares patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and administering contrast agents as required. Monitors patients' vital signs and responses during procedures, and intervenes as necessary to ensure their safety and comfort. Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and execute complex interventional procedures, such as angioplasty and stent placement. Maintains accurate and complete records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance and usage. Adheres to all safety protocols and infection control procedures to minimize risk to patients and staff. Education Requirement:
Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required. Licensure Requirement:
Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required. Current ODH License, required Certifications:
Current CPR Certification, required. Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience:
Two years of clinical experience in Radiologic Sciences, required. One year of Interventional experience, preferred. Experience in pediatric setting, preferred. Physical Requirements:
