The focus of this position is to ensure that all work centers are supplied with the proper items to produce according to the planned schedule. 3rd Shift: Sun. - Thu. 9:45PM - 6AM(plus $1.50 shift differential) Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Works independently to gather tooling, components and supplies required per specifications. May included but not limited to printing plates, dies, inks, boxes, labels, cores, paperwork, and other supplies for production orders. Little instruction is provided related to daily work. Performs accurate inventory transactions using handheld scanner Precisely mounts flexible printing plates on print cylinders Conducts ink mixing and color matching independently. Returns and inventories unused components when orders are complete Controls and maintains inventory levels Assists machine operators in teardown of press between production orders Operates converting machinery. Demonstrates the ability to operate the press while press operator is on break Operates electric lift cart with working platform at height Troubleshoots and resolves a diverse range of moderately complex problems Collaborates with planning department, material handlers, supervisors/leads to set jobs appropriately Has basic quality assurance knowledge and demonstrates ability to perform quality checks and inspection on products. Complies with all required safety practices, use of PPE, housekeeping and 5S program Builds productive working relationships internally, generally within immediate department or team. May serve as an escalation point for junior team members and support training of new hires. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience Preferred Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent 2+ years of experience
Ability to lift 40lbs of steel dies and push/pull carts
Standing, walking, and bending 95% of the time
Ability to work effectively with others
Accepts direction and instruction from supervisor
Basic math and computer skills
Effective communication skills
