Lead Data Management Analyst
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst within the Accounting Transformation Team. The Finance Accounting Transformation delivers automation and process re-engineering projects. As part of the external reporting transformation initiative, the candidate will work with technology and stakeholders to deliver projects that allow the firm to automate regulatory and management reporting. This implementation will result in the accurate automated production of US Regulatory Reports. In this role, you will: Coordinate with stakeholders and finance managers and work with users to identify requirements, write requirement documents, using use cases, workflows, screen mock-ups, and spreadsheet models. Analyze current business and system processes for potential areas of improvement. Own and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with strategic goals and delivery timelines. Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including developers, testers, analysts and business stakeholders. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product reviews to keep the team aligned. Drive end-to-end delivery of features, communicate progress, risks and key decisions to senior leadership. Act as a team lead in providing work guidance or mentorship to other individuals. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Experience with BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI. Thorough understanding of the design, development, and implementation of software solution. Desired Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent. Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Management role. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments, with proven ability to manage product backlogs and user stories. Demonstrated success in delivering technology solutions with measurable business impact. 4 to 5 years' experience working in technology with focus on ETL, data analysis and SQL. Product knowledge in some or all the following areas (loans & leases, deposits, derivatives, securities, equity, capital etc.). Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and financial reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, SEC, etc. Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting systems, legal entities, and role of regulatory authorities.
