Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager, Facilities Maintenance 2 for our Azusa, CA campus. Candidate will manage the maintenance and repair of site building, infrastructure, and machinery operations, including compliance, and reliability assurance for facilities equipment and infrastructure within the Space Sector. Responsibilities include: Works with Construction Engineering to ensure standard servicing practices and equipment maintainability is integrated into the alteration/reconfiguration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Evaluates equipment reliability and associated risk of failure; supports annual operating planning activities for equipment replacement. Leads in-house maintenance team consisting of multiple facilities-related disciplines (plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC/R, electronics, etc.) to execute operation of a mid-sized industrial facility. Ensures application of industry standard maintenance practices and engineering concepts to achieve optimization, maintainability, reliability, and availability of infrastructure and equipment. Provides technical support and direction as needed. Reviews designs, drawings, and specifications for new construction, rearrangements, facility modifications, production equipment modifications and new production equipment acquisitions to ensure reliability, maintainability, and compatibility with existing facilities, production and facilities equipment. Provides direct oversight of maintenance and repair of buildings, building infrastructure, machinery and grounds associated with the site. Maintains compliance and monitors job performance metrics. Develops preventive maintenance procedures for building infrastructure, machinery and equipment, and grounds. Develops preventative maintenance programs and authors job plans. Provides direct oversight of repair and maintenance of buildings, machinery and equipment, building infrastructure and grounds. Prepares statements of work and provides direct oversight of outside contractors for equipment requiring specialized maintenance (i.e. UPS, Fire Protection System Services, etc.). Ensures that preventative maintenance is effectively planned and programmed to optimize performance and efficacy of technicians labor, and ensures equipment is operating optimally to avoid any unscheduled breakdown and/or downtime. Drives implementation of standard methodologies and common approaches. Ensures accurate recordkeeping and maintenance of any and all known property, building systems, and production equipment through ongoing condition assessments. Leads operational compliance at the Azusa, CA site. Supports employee relocations throughout the campus, coordinates with customer and management resources necessary to support requirements. Reviews, evaluates, and publishes departmental metrics to ensure operation efficiencies and success. Supports 24-hour site requirements including but not limited to alarms, weather related events, building system failures, program requirements; acts as a first responder. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with 7 years of related experience in commercial and/or industrial facility infrastructure and equipment maintenance operations/maintenance engineering. Confirmed prior experience leading cross discipline facilities maintenance related teams, providing technical direction, and managing budgets, and schedules. Must-be able to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in a STEM-related discipline 10+ years of experience Active Secret Clearance Strong knowledge of Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and of Construction and Project Management Must-be an excellent communicator Strong ability to prioritize and lead multiple tasks in a high-paced environment Strong leader with firm disposition and ability to effectively communicate with high level executives Salary Range: $117,600.00 - $176,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
