Senior Fp&A Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to play a pivotal role in our financial team. This position is integral to our financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring that we make informed strategic decisions to drive our business forward. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial analysis and business planning, with a focus on continuous improvement and strategic financial management. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and management of the annual budget, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives. Deliver monthly commentary and analysis for comprehensive reporting packages. Support sales and profit forecasting by analyzing category trends, growth initiatives, and customer dynamics to guide business priorities. Conduct in-depth financial analyses to provide insights on key performance metrics and business drivers. Produce regular financial reporting packages detailing customer and SKU profitability. Generate trended reports and insights to enhance freight, product mix, pricing, and cost efficiencies. Analyze financial outcomes, including sales trends, P&L analysis, and variance analysis (Price, Volume, Mix). Develop short and long-term financial forecast models for the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. Conduct profitability analyses for customers, products, and new initiatives. Identify cost management and earnings enhancement opportunities, communicating insights to senior leadership. Provide ad hoc support for strategic planning and business case analysis. Perform other duties as assigned to support the business objectives. Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in Commercial, Sales, or Finance roles. Experience in CPG / Food & Beverage / Co-Manufacturing with expertise in customer pricing and profitability models. Proficiency in financial modeling and analytics. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and familiarity with business intelligence systems. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint. Preferred:

Working knowledge of ERP systems. General accounting knowledge is an advantage.
