Endpoint Systems Lead
The CIS program supports our intelligence customer deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of their IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure. CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Endpoint Systems Lead to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency. Responsibilities include: Managing a key team providing global, 24/7 operations coverage for all infrastructure, devices, products, and solutions Analyzing requirements, concepts of operations, and system architectures to deploy, operate, and maintain engineered and tested infrastructure components in line with program vision and objectives Collaborating with engineering teams and government stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure availability, reliability, resiliency, and operability objectives are well understood and achievable Providing all Tier 2/3 activities, including incident analysis and resolution, troubleshooting, break/fix work, and hands-on touch labor for all devices, components, and solutions Monitoring and analyzing capacity, performance, and other service-level metrics to maintain optimal user experience and infrastructure utilization, detect trends, and prevent potential errors from becoming incidents or problems Working in small teams or independently to perform schedule and ad hoc maintenance, update, and upgrade activities per authorized service interruption schedules Working with technical writers to develop and maintain knowledge base artifacts, SOPs, documentation, and other operations supporting information Participating in Continual Service Improvement (CSI) and innovation activities; researching new technologies and capabilities, analyzing and articulating to stakeholders the benefits of revisions or evolution of current infrastructure ecosystems Using lab facilities to promote incident/problem investigation, resolution, and feasibility of investigation and feasibility of designs and technologies Developing test cases and scripts for beta and acceptance tests for all designs and component configurations; using Lab facilities to ensure complete test coverage and positive outcomes before component for deployment Managing transfer of engineered solutions from engineering teams throughout acceptance testing and blue/green fielding Coordinating with engineering personnel for advanced troubleshooting and break/fix services within areas of experience Providing continuous patch management for designated infrastructure (e.g., workstations, servers) across all networks and security domains Providing information and/or coordinating on approved Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) Aiding in creation of content required documentation, reports, and data adhering to schedule, format, and content requirements specified by the contract Deploying, operating, and maintaining physical, virtual, and cloud-based client desktop or mobile endpoints Monitoring and managing Forcepoint TTC, Citrix, Azure, AWS, and VMware infrastructure and associated administrator and end-user access for stakeholders Managing end-user profiles to include automated updates at user login and logoff. Synchronizing profile information with Active Directory and other sources of user data Hands-on experience maintaining performance-based human-centric implementations for optimal startup, login, application streaming, and other user experiences Managing and maintaining desktop and application packaging of standard, engineered and tested configurations for (remote) distribution to thick, thin, virtual, and mobile device end points Monitoring and managing all hardware and software licenses, distribution, use, and accounting by user account, device, or group Familiarity with configuration of hardware BIOS, RAM, device drivers, and full disk encryption using NIST-, FIPS-, and NSA-approved encryption algorithms Testing, automating patch management solutions, and deploying software/applications using environment-specific tooling Applying working knowledge of network concepts, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies to optimize customer interactions in secure, separated environments Qualifications required include: Must hold a current Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible Experience managing teams or projects An AS/AA and 14+ years of experience, BS/BA and 12+ years of experience, MS/MA and 10+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions Current DoD 8140 - IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+) Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies. Desired qualifications include: Degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or Citrix Certified Associate-Virtualization, Azure Fundamentals (or equivalent), or VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization, or Ivanti User Workspace Administrator Azure Administrator Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments ITIL 4 Foundation Certification What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
