Position Summary: The College of STEM recruitment, retention, and outreach coordinator (RROC) will play a pivotal role in supporting the college to attract, engage, and retain students while fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position will require collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to develop and implement strategies for student engagement, marketing, communication, registration, and retention initiatives. The coordinator will also manage social media, outreach efforts, summer camps, and data-driven initiatives that support continuous improvement of recruitment and retention efforts. Student Recruitment and Retention Support. Coordinate Student Advising and Academic Support. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Master's degree in marketing, communications, education, STEM, or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing social media platforms. Strong organizational skills. Proficiency with data collection, analysis, and creating reports. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in marketing, communications, education, STEM, or related field. Degree must be obtained by 12/31/2025. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in higher education, particularly within STEM fields. Knowledge of student recruitment and retention strategies. Familiarity with graphic design tools to create marketing materials. Proven success in coordinating outreach and engagement events. Experience in partnership development with external organizations. Work Location, Environment, and Physical Demands: Primary work will be on the ATU Russellville campus. This position will require travel both within and outside of Arkansas to recruit STEM students.
