Technology Support For Global Trading Applications
Provide technology support for global trading applications used by Securities Finance (SF) traders. Lead the buildout of real-time production infrastructure monitoring using application performance monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and AWS Cloud watch. Deliver tactical solutions on legacy platform. Troubleshoot the performance bottlenecks, refactor the application, and fine tune the database queries. Perform infrastructure upgrades and disaster recovery testing. Support and provide historical data for internal and external audit queries. Automate the routine support tasks and maintain the support documentation. Manage the AWS cloud infrastructure. Lead the release and incident management streams for the SF technology team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. All of the required experience must have included experience with: delivering software solutions to support end users of financial services; .NET or Java frameworks; writing database queries and performance tuning; writing scripting in Powershell, Windows batch, or Linux shell; using Workload Schedulers such as Autosys and IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler; and continuous integration and continuous deployment using Devops tools. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. Minimum Salary: 220,000 Maximum Salary: 220,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
