PACEKC Center Receptionist

PACEKC is seeking an engaging and mission-driven Receptionist to be part of a team of caregivers to provide care for the people who need it most. The Receptionist greets, welcomes, directs visitors appropriately, and notifies associates of visitor arrival. The Receptionist maintains the telecommunications system, including screening and directing incoming calls and taking messages. You will also assist the Director of Center Services, and other associates with tasks as assigned in compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and home office requirements. You play a vital role in providing an overall great experience to our clients and patients. If you have a passion for helping others, this role is for you. Primary responsibilities include: Updating community phone listings. Maintaining an accurate list of emergency telephone numbers, including key personnel and medical staff. Receiving, sorting, and forwarding incoming mail; receiving and routing package deliveries. Processing outgoing facility mail. Opening and routing A/P and A/R mail. Organizing, filing, and maintaining all business office paperwork. Assuming responsibility for designated clerical and receptionist duties at the front desk. Receiving incoming telephone calls, screening for correct transfer, and connecting with the appropriate party. Greeting and directing visitors; greeting, screening, and directing salespersons as advised. Monitoring for building safety and initiating emergency response when necessary. Ordering, stocking, and maintaining office supply storage area and copiers; calling for service when needed. Maintaining accurate participant and personnel contact information. Maintaining an efficient, well-run business office, helping with or taking on other tasks as needed. Ensuring quality customer service to the residents, families, and staff that the department serves. Maintaining up-to-date and appropriate documentation in the participant's electronic medical record. Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, communicating participant changes, and collaborating on care. Successful candidates will have: High School graduate or equivalent education. 1 year of previous experience in bookkeeping and/or receptionist duties. 3 years of experience in receptionist duties in a health care field. 1 year working with the geriatric population. Associates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or obtain an approved exemption for vaccination accommodation based on a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
