Nanny / Household Manager
A busy downtown family of five is searching for a highly capable nanny / household manager to join the family. The role will be Monday through Friday from 12 to 8 pm. The family needs someone who is willing to work two weekends a month. When working weekends the role will be 8hrs each of Saturday and Sunday in NYC or traveling with the family to their country house in Litchfield County, CT. On those weeks you would have two weekdays off. Responsibilities
A-Z childcare for children ages 10, 6 and 3 Keep the home tidy, organized and running Preparing healthy snacks and meals Light housekeeping and laundry for the family, kitchen maintenance Household tasks and errands (organizing groceries, unboxing packages, taking inventory of supplies, etc.) Travel when needed- must be able to go to CT two weekends a month Driving kids too and from activities Stay later one or two days per week the position could be later if the parents have a dinner Qualifications
Active and energetic, and able to keep up with a busy household The desire to really interact with the children Proactive and ability to be steps ahead at all times Flexible and willing to help where needed Looking for a long-term commitment with a great family Requirements
A valid driver's license and clean record (the family will provide a car for work use) Ability to swim Willing to work in a busy household with family members present Ability to work WEEKENDS Ability to travel Salary and Benefits
Role DOE and ranges from $35-$40 per hr
