Microelectronics Assembler
Join a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA as a Microelectronics Assembler. This is an exciting contract role with the potential to grow into a long-term opportunity. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for working with electronics, this hands-on position offers a chance to contribute to the development of cutting-edge products and systems. Key responsibilities include: Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. Operate microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure quality standards are met. Interpret and follow assembly process documentation and work instructions. Handle components ranging from microscopic to large sizes, often requiring visual magnification. Utilize hand tools (e.g., tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (e.g., torque drivers, screwdrivers). Accurately record production data and maintain documentation. Collaborate with team members to support throughput and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Must have ability to obtain a government security clearance. (Requires US Citizenship) High school diploma or GED required. Skills & Experience: Basic computer proficiency for navigating digital systems (e.g., timekeeping, work instructions). Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. Experience soldering to industry standards such as J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610. Familiarity with ESD procedures and test equipment. Dependable, punctual, and eager to grow professionally. Preferred Skills: Active Secret Clearance Experience in electrical or microelectronics assembly Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
