Geotechnical Designer/EIT

In the role of Geotechnical Designer/EIT, we'll count on you to: Assist in planning and conducting geotechnical investigations and site assessments Perform field tasks including drilling oversight and construction observations, with most work focused in the NY/NJ area. Occasional travel outside NY/NJ may be expected to help assist project demands in other areas Assist in performing geotechnical calculations and analysis for small- and large-scale projects Assist in preparation of geotechnical reports, calculation packages, drawings and specifications Have some familiarity with geotechnical software including LPILE, ALPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, GeoStudio, Settle3, and DeepEx Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and be willing to learn and take on new tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil or Geotechnical Engineering; master's degree with Geotechnical emphasis preferred. 3 years of work experience. EIT certification, or current registration for FE exam. Candidates hired without their EIT will be titled "Geotechnical Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Willingness and ability to go to the field as needed. Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Familiarity with GeoStudio, ESoft APILE, LPILE, GROUP, and Settle3 preferred.
