Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Requirements: A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Mechanical skills (Use of hand tools.) Ability to read & understand basic work instructions. Ability to lift 35 lbs. Work overtime as required. Job Responsibilities: Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times. Follow directions from the lead operator. Load and set up band-wire spools in the automated presses. Run SN presses and understand its operation. Perform checks and inspections to ensure the product is up to standards. Perform basic adjustments to the equipment to keep the lines moving (i.e. turn on the machine, clear jammed staples, reset sensors, etc.) Help lead operator in troubleshooting of equipment. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized area. Reports accurate production numbers (report number of packs at the end of the shift.) Advises lead operator of any situation that interrupts or prevent production from achieving maximum efficiency.
