Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 - 2nd Shift to join our Launch & Missile Defense Systems - Launch Vehicles team in Chandler, AZ. In this job, you will: Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Work with engineers in conducting experiments. Due to the sensitive nature of our work this is a fully on-site position; hybrid or remote work is not available. Relocation is not available for this role. Your Expertise - Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of additional education and/or related experience Available to work 3:30pm to 1:00am Proficiency in the use of hand tools, often requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Experience following engineering drawings, instructions, parts lists and schematics Ability to cut wire, crimp contacts, pin connectors, apply shielding, and torque connector hardware. Preferred Edge - Nice to Have Qualifications: IPC-A-620 certification We work a 9/80 schedule (9 hours per day Mon-Thurs, 8 hours every other Friday with the alternate Friday off) For more benefit details please visit our Total Rewards site. Salary Range: $43,100.00 - $71,900.00
