This Process Manager for Claims Servicing in Retail Bank will be responsible for documenting the end-to-end processes within Claims, from customer need identification through customer resolution and backend reconciliation. This includes mapping all happy and unhappy paths across various payment channels (Debit, ACH, ATM, Zelle), with a keen eye towards identifying opportunities to improve cost, customer experience, and operational efficiency. This role requires becoming the expert that spans operations, technology, and customer experience processes. General Responsibilities: Leading and owning oversight of process improvement work and collaborating with teammates on larger initiatives Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to senior leadership and executives Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities Tracking and resolving process breakdowns Understanding customers' needs of the process and driving process improvements Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with project customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 3 years of Process or Project Management experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experience Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification 2+ years of Operations, Financial Services Compliance or Risk Management experience 4+ years of experience in Process Management At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $102,700 - $117,200 for Principal Process Manager New York, NY: $112,000 - $127,800 for Principal Process Manager Richmond, VA: $93,400 - $106,600 for Principal Process Manager Wilmington, DE: $93,400 - $106,600 for Principal Process Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
