Location: 2501 West 84th Street, Bloomington, MN, United States Hourly Wage: $14.00 Employment Status: Hourly, Non-Benefits Eligible Hours: Approximately 3-5 hours Duties: The Student Proctor plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and security of examinations administered. This position is responsible for managing exam-related materials, facilitating exam sessions in person, and ensuring a fair and professional testing environment. Exam Security & Administration: Securely manage and safeguard exam passwords and materials prior to the exam. Distribute passwords to examinees at a pre-determined time during the in-person session. Return all passwords and any printed test materials to the appropriate faculty office promptly and securely. Proctoring Duties: Oversee examinees during testing sessions lasting approximately 6090 minutes. Monitor student behavior to ensure exam integrity and adherence to college policies. Physical standing may be required throughout the exam, but periods of sitting are permitted. Communication & Reporting: Record and report attendance, including absentees, to the course-specific Assessment Coordinator at the conclusion of each exam session. Promptly communicate any irregularities or breaches of protocol during the exam. Compensation: Hourly wage as per institutional student employment policies. Qualifications: Must be a current student in good academic standing at the NWHSU. T4 or higher High level of reliability, integrity, and attention to detail. Professional demeanor with strong verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow detailed procedures precisely. No prior experience in testing or academic setting is required. Physical Requirements: Ability to remain alert and observant during exam sessions. May involve standing for extended periods (up to 90 minutes), though accommodations may be made depending on the setting.
