Full-Time, Medical Billing A/R Analyst

US News & World Report. Responsibilities include: Review, analyze, and resolve unpaid and denied claims Recommend denials prevention strategies Improve payment turnaround times Ensure accurate and timely billing and collections processes. Communicate with insurance companies to follow up on claims and reimbursement status and resolve issues. Coordinate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies. Document and update patient records regarding billing information and status. Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations and standards. Generate and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable. Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting activities. Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) Ensure accuracy in billing and collections Track outstanding payments and ensure payments are not underpaid based on the contracted rates Requirements and Skills: 3+ years' experience in medical or healthcare accounts receivable required 3+ years' experience with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Procedure Coding required Gastroenterology (gastro) billing or coding experience preferred AS in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Certifications: AMBA CRCR, or AMBA CMRS preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented and ability to multitask.
