Secret Entry Level Financial Analyst
We are looking for someone who is skilled in VLOOKUP and pivot tables in Excel. This is a Jr/Entry Level role and does not require someone to already be a financial analyst. The interview process will be two steps- one virtual interview with lead, and one on-site excel test. 30-35/hr Newly funded contract, direct placement to prime with benefits from day 1. Qualifications: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros) Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship Position Overview: Our client was awarded a Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase III contract to provide Navy sustainment decision support system services for NSWC Port Hueneme Division. This role ensures accurate financial analysis, budget preparation and execution, funds tracking, and reporting for multiple branches, divisions, and projects. Responsibilities: Provide professional financial analysis, tracking, and reporting for multiple Navy projects Prepare, execute, and manage budgets Perform advanced Excel tasks including: linking/embedding multiple spreadsheets, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filtering, IF statements, formulas, and macros Process and integrate financial data using DON-approved systems and business practices Support incoming/outgoing funding documentation Verify accounting data accuracy in financial systems Coordinate with stakeholders to gather supporting documentation Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and records for financial reporting Analyze financial trends and present findings to management Assist program analysts with tasking and work assignments Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Navy ERP (N-ERP) reports and modules Familiarity with US Navy and NSWC PHD processes and systems
