As the Supervisor of Land Projects and Administration - Upstream, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for Lease Records, Division Orders, Owner Relations and Land Records for Williams' oil and gas properties. You'll oversee the preparation and distribution of division orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations while resolving complex title and ownership issues, provide subject matter expertise towards the interpretation, analysis, and recommendations of complex lease provisions, as well as review and revise land projects and admin policy and procedures as needed. Your leadership will be key in interpreting legal documents, coordinating with land, legal, and accounting departments, and ensuring timely revenue distribution. This role demands strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of land and mineral ownership principles. Leads Land Projects and Admin - Upstream team project management, coordinating the procedures and timeliness of team deliverables.
Responsible for identifying, introducing, and implementing new and innovative initiatives as it relates to land related business processes and systems.
Oversees and prioritizes Land Projects including the reporting of existing Company interests and the coordination of efforts for Company acquisition and divestitures.
Leads the verification of ownership interests and the preparation of division orders to ensure accurate revenue distribution and regulatory compliance.
Oversees title examinations and curative actions, providing expert interpretation of complex legal documents and resolving ownership discrepancies.
Manages and mentors a team of analysts, fostering professional development and ensuring consistent application of best practices.
Collaborates and coordinates with Company stakeholders across multiple disciplines and departments, including Land, Legal, Internal Control, Accounting, Finance, and IT to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Years of Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Business, or related field; a minimum of six years related industry.
At least three (3) years in a supervisory role preferred.
Other Requirements: Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills.
Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
Strong understanding of land and mineral ownership, title analysis, and regulatory requirements in the upstream oil and gas sector.
