Systems Test Design Lead

Our team develops solutions that enable product development, characterization, and calibration/testing that fuel Apple's never-ending pursuit of excellence in customer experience and quality. We are seeking enthusiastic team members with a desire to see their work make an impact in the lives of our customers around the world. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, EE/CE degree preferred plus 5-10 years experience Excellent understanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systems. Prior experience with integration of one or more of the following technologies: sensing (motion, touch), transducers, imaging, displays, electrical interconnect and protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc.). Have an understanding of physics and electronics; is capable of applying creativity, common sense, and technical skills to solve complex problems. Exceptional problem solving ability. Prior technical leadership and/or project management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills. Willingness to travel domestic (if required by home location, ~3 day trips) and internationally 5-10% of the time in 7-10 day trips. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with FMEA and FA processes - root-cause investigations of issues and recommendations for design improvements. Knowledge of statistical data analysis methods. Engineering build leadership, ownership for factory cal/test strategy and bringup interfacing with factory teams. Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
