Diamond Grove Center is currently searching for a Day Treatment Assistant for our MYPAC Program. This position will be fulltime, with hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. Flexibility is required for this position. Diamond Grove Center is a 61 bed, behavioral psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful neighborhood of Louisville, Miss. Diamond Grove Center features individual units for children, adolescents, and offers inpatient care acute care, as well as residential treatment for adolescents. On average 1000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Diamond Grove Center Hospital. What Will the MYPAC Therapist Duties Consist Of? The MYPAC Day Treatment Assistant will be responsible for delivery of all mental health services (e.g. individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and substance abuse treatment, etc.). The Therapist will complete all required clinical assessments, will be responsible for the clinical oversight and clinical interventions related to the crisis management plan, and the individualized service plan. Therapist will also be responsible for providing targeted clinical interventions based on the identified youth's needs through the various assessments and plans. The Therapist will complete all required assessments and case documentations for each individual in a timely manner and within program requirements. What Happens Next? Qualifications Must possess a minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related behavioral health field required. Valid and current mental health certification (PCMHT or CMHT) and/or license (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, and LMFTA) within 30 days of employment. Experience working with families and youth with emotional and behavioral needs. Must have a minimum of (2 years clinical experience working with children and youth with serious emotional disturbances and families with complex needs in a similar or more restrictive placement environment. Ability to meet and handle the public with tact and poise. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment. Ability to appropriately handle confidential information. Ability to understand and consistently implement policies and procedures of the hospital. Ability to interact and work cooperatively and effectively with other personnel and clients. Ability to show sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences in the service population. Ability to uphold the mission and values of Diamond Grove Center.
