Press Operators

are the cornerstone of our production team at Plastic Printers. Our production team is responsible for the creation of the products that our customers come to us for, and Press Operators are right at the heart of it .

We're looking for a

Press Operator

who's excited to help us be the leaders in the industry - someone who thrives on using their skills to create, is eager to cross-train on our presses to be the expert on high quality products as the result, and who takes pride in their work. As a key player on our Production Team, you'll: Reviewing job to make the right adjustments to the printing machine and materials Installing parts and supplies such as ink rollers, screens, printing plates and stencils according to the job specifications and blueprints Testing inks and paints on the printing surface to determine the suitability Handling production of the printed materials, to ensure it meets the specifications, is ready and on schedule Performing maintenance tasks on the printing machine Troubleshooting equipment issues such as creaking noises, etc and elevating Maintenance required as needed Cleaning the printing press and peripherals Actively participating in company safety programs and contributing to a safe culture Filling in for other Operators as needed including covering absences or breaks You're a Great Fit If You: Into Late Nights, but not too late! Education and Experience: Experience in a Printing environment as Digital Press Operator, Offset Press Operator, Other Press Operator, Web Press Operator, Prepress Specialist is ideal but not required HPI Certifications a plus Experience with DOD, Embossing, Foil Stamping and other Embellishment Presses or Equipment Prepress Experience and/or Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically In-Design & Illustrator

Physical & Other Requirements: Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day Ability to lift or work with 50 pounds Excellent physical strength and stamina Excellent time-management skills Work well in a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail
