The Marcom Production Operations Department (MPO) is a technically oriented production service organization comprised of the following divisions: Technical Device Management, Media Operations, Video Accessibility and Special Operations. The MPO teams have a sense of pride in the work being produced, a shared sense of purpose as a group and are known for delivering the highest quality creative work. The ideal candidate is highly creative with strong technical skills, and has a consistent record of leading large teams and delivering on complex productions. We are seeking a leader who cultivates a customer-first philosophy, fostering a culture of excellence in every interaction. Marcom Technical Device Managers work within Marcom Production Operations group and support video production and photography projects. They handle the devices being filmed for marketing and training purposes. Responsibilities
Ensure released and unreleased products remain true to function Act as a liaison between engineering, product marketing, branding, content and production Work with Creatives to prototype, load, and screen capture content on devices Manage Devices in Production Environment (Video and Photo) Prepare and Test Hardware and Software ahead of a production Partner with Brand to ensure screens and content remain true Handle Logistics, Project Planning and meet Security needs Provides onset support for production which will require significant travel both domestic and international Minimum Qualifications
3-7 years of experience working in a technical or production role with full technical understanding in one or more of the following areas: Command line/scripting, camera systems, encoding & compression, software development, live broadcast systems or editing & VFX. Video and Photo onset production experience Networking and/or technical troubleshooting experience Experience with one of the following: Photoshop, Aftereffects and/or Final Cut Preferred Qualifications
A sense or curiosity with a view to constant learning and development and a passion for growing and trying new things Managing ambiguity and continuing to push forward even when the way forward isn't clear Clear communicator with ability to create strong and productive peer relationships Strong customer focus helping cultivate good customer relationships with a view to better understanding customer needs Strong problem solving skills, with an ability to navigate through outstanding technical challenges Expert knowledge in Apple hardware and software products Experience using Terminal and Command Line Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred Technical Project Management experience Apple Lead Genius experience Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $117,400 and $176,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
