Computer/Systems Operator
At Lockheed Martin's Moorestown, NJ facility, we support advanced engineering, defense systems, and mission-critical technologies by ensuring the seamless operation of complex computing environments. Our team plays a key role in keeping these systems running smoothly to support national security and innovation. We are seeking a Computer/Systems Operator to support ongoing operations at our Moorestown, NJ site. This role involves monitoring and operating electronic digital computer systems and related peripheral equipment according to established instructions and schedules. Key responsibilities include: configuring control settings and preparing computing systems for batch or real-time data processing; loading and unloading tapes, print media, and other materials; ensuring proper alignment and readiness of input/output devices; monitoring system control panels and equipment for messages, job status, or error indications; executing diagnostic routines and responding to system messages by following operational procedures or escalating to appropriate personnel; performing basic clerical functions such as labeling media, maintaining operations logs, restocking consumables, and distributing printouts; operating peripheral hardware, such as tape drives and printers, and managing tape-to-printer operations; responding to equipment alerts or system faults with corrective action based on guidance and training; and supporting multiple systems as required by mission and project demands. This position is fulltime on site in Moorestown, NJ. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level. U.S. Citizenship is required. The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $37,400 - $65,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
