Ellie strives to lower the administrative aspects of providing care to the absolute minimum, so our practitioners have more time to focus on what they love - serving clients! We want our people to be happy because happy therapists do better work and provide better client care! Major responsibilities include completing psychiatric assessments on child and adolescent patients, conducting psychosocial evaluations and providing therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling for child and adolescent patients and their families as needed to facilitate behavioral health clinical care management, determining an evaluation plan that would address the referral questions, administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological measures, writing a thorough testing report to explain the results of the evaluation, providing feedback to the client regarding the results of the evaluation, providing excellent customer service for clients, and utilizing creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals. Required/preferred education and experience include being licensed and credentialed to practice in the state of Virginia, having a clinical or counseling psychology doctorate from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship, experience with completing psychological evaluations, familiarity with working with/within school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504 process, and ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner. Flexible work from home options available. Compensation: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year. Don't meet every requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. Ellie Mental Health is devoted to purposefully building an inclusive and diverse workplace where all of our humans can be their authentic selves! If you're excited about the chance to be a change-maker with us, but your past experience doesn't perfectly align with every single qualification of the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways.
