Crater/Packer
You will be the Crater/Packer for our Shipping and Receiving team. Our team is responsible for preparing and packaging materials for shipment, ensuring they are properly secured and protected during transit. As the Crater/Packer, you will be responsible for determining packaging requirements and preparing materials for shipment, including building special crating fixtures and braces for unusual or large items. Your responsibilities will include: Determining packaging requirements from specifications, blueprints, and oral instructions Building special crating fixtures and braces for shipping unusual or large items Packaging materials by blocking, tying down, padding, securing, bracing, or other means to avoid damages Operating standard hand and power woodworking tools and banding equipment Coordinating loading or unloading of unusual items requiring special handling techniques Operating forklifts to unload and load trucks of incoming and outgoing material We're looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Crater/Packer. Ability to work with a team. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Desired Skills: Ability to work in team environment. Good communication skills Forklift experience Knowledge of SAP is a plus but not required. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
