Corps Driver

Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The Corps Driver is responsible for picking up and dropping off corps members. The Corps Driver is also responsible to make sure he/she completes pickups, stays on routes and ensures to provide safe transportation for the corps for Sunday worship and any other ministry meetings or events where transportation is needed. This is a part-time position. Essential Functions Picking up/dropping off kettles at different sites. Follow pick up routes and instructions. Ensure corps members are transported safely to the assigned, approved designated locations. Assist in other related areas as needed Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Minimum Qualifications Valid IDs for E-Verify Valid CA driver license Clean MVR check Over 21 years old Can follow instructions Familiar with OC/LA areas to navigate pick-up routes Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Pass TSA driving training course If working in vicinity of children a criminal background check is required with certification for Protect the Mission policies and procedures.
