Warehouse Supervisor

Wallwork Truck Center, a subsidiary company of Wallwork Inc., is currently hiring a full-time Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, 40-45 hours per week (Pay- $50,000/yr. + DOE). The Warehouse Supervisor's responsibilities include but are not limited to: verifying and stocking incoming parts and shipments into the warehouse, managing the return of parts, preparing parts for delivery, overseeing warehouse employees, and ability to communicate with other necessary departments and customers. This position requires H.S. Diploma or G.E.D., a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, a minimum of one year of supervisory experience, the ability to lift 75 pounds, the ability to pass a background check, and a motor vehicle report. Valid driver's license with clean driving record Minimum one year supervisory experience Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities: Must display excellent leadership and communication skills Strong work ethic Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products Must have a positive "can-do" attitude Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): Supervisory responsibilities are required with this position Essential Functions and Accountabilities: Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare parts for delivery. Supervise warehouse personnel. Oversee and process core battery returns, and vendor returns. Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements. Communicates with other department, customers and employees on orders, status of parts, shipments, etc. Responsible for effective parts inventory management which includes overseeing all inventory flow levels, cycle counts, stocking, and returns related to inventory control within the warehouse to ensure that we have the right parts inventory to meet our customers' needs and maximize profitability. Encouraging personnel to keep their skills up-to-date through periodic training on new systems and components. Must be capable of working under pressure, work independently, and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise. A primary duty is to routinely direct the work of two or more full time employees or the equivalent. Possess the authority to hire and fire employees, or give suggestions and recommendations throughout the process of hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status of other employees. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending meetings; educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Some overnight travel may be required as needed. (Lodging, meals and travel expenses are compensated per company guidelines.) Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times. Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance. Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
