Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking a motivated Data Entry Clerk to assist with tracking procurements for a large infrastructure project in Los Angeles. Must have strong Excel skills. Responsibilities include: Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting procurement items. Process vendor documents by reviewing data for deficiencies and resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Filing and other light administrative duties as needed. Some knowledge of contract or labor compliance is helpful but not required. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Clerk Typist background a plus. Requirements: Strong Excel skills Solid math skills High attention to detail and accuracy; ability to self-audit. High School Diploma required; College Diploma preferred 2+ years experience in Data-Entry required 1+ years experience in construction industry preferred Payroll or accounting data experience a plus Strong interpersonal skills & organizational skills Active Team Player with positive attitude High level of computer proficiency Highly motivated All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
