The Hoffman Estates Park District is seeking experienced and dedicated dance instructors interested in building a culturally diverse dance department. Our year-round dance program is hiring for youth or adult dance classes with an emphasis on Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Poms, and Tap. Salary: $15-22/hr Location: Triphahn Center and/or Willow Recreation Center Days/Hours of Work: Saturday Mornings/Afternoon Qualifications: Experience in Dance, multiple styles preferred Must have experience in Working with children Strong communication skills Must be at least 18 years or older Experience: Actively participate in teaching/demonstrating dance movements Propose and develop age-appropriate dance curriculum and programming ideas for supervisor review Choreograph and prepare participants for end-of-year recitals and shows Upon hire, complete certification in CPR/AED, mandated reporter, and anti-harassment Other duties as assigned Ideal teaching candidates will be dependable, creative, and energetic, have a strong professional background in their artistic discipline, and have experience teaching children and adults.
