Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Canon City, CO. This is a registry position with our company. 36 hours travel package weekly gross pay = $612. Local hourly rate (taxable) = $17. Weekly travel stipend non-taxed- goes to the net pay = $1225 (Hotel-749 Meals-476). Total Weekly ($1225 is not taxed) = $1837. Feels like per hour = $51.03. $1837 div 36 hours = $51.03. Shifts Available: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 0600-1920 for the month of July. Minimum Qualifications: At least one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Must have up to date credentials in the state of CO. A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association). Ability to build rapport with patients. Compassionate and caring demeanor. Familiarity with medical terminology. Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English. Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away. Job Responsibilities: Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients. Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care. Maintain accurate patient medical records.
