Quality Assurance Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our client's team. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality through thorough inspection, verification of labeling, packaging accuracy, and documentation review before final product release. Monday to Friday. Pay rate: $19-20/hr. 2nd shift - 3pm to 11pm. 3rd shift - 11pm to 7am. Performing detailed quality control checks on finished products, including verifying counts, labels, tray numbers, and packaging accuracy. Inspecting inserts and outserts for quality issues such as glue placement, squareness, and correct folding configuration. Comparing finished products to customer specifications and approved samples to ensure compliance. Approving tray and carton labels and conducting final inspections before product release. Documenting inspection results, noting any issues, and maintaining accurate quality assurance logs. Working closely with team members and supervisors to ensure that all materials meet internal and customer quality standards. Meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Ensuring timely completion and delivery of time-sensitive materials to meet client expectations. Work Experience Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role; experience in Bindery or Pharmaceutical environments is preferred. Proven ability to conduct visual inspections and perform quality control checks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Experience with reading and interpreting spec sheets, job tickets, and customer requirements. Familiarity with tools such as rulers and calipers to measure and inspect product dimensions and quality. Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Has worked in a CGMP environment before. Familiar with AS400. Familiar with ISO9000. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team. Strong math and measurement skills. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic are a must.
