Senior LVCG Technician (WIM) - WARSIM Intelligence Model Instructor/Controller (IC)
Various CONUS and OCONUS U.S. and Allied Military Locations Active SECRET clearance (or higher) required Position Summary: The Senior LVCG Technician - WIM Instructor/Controller (IC) plays a critical role in delivering realistic and effective intelligence simulation training in support of Army training exercises. This senior-level position operates under the direction of the WIM Team Lead and provides expert guidance, technical execution, and instruction within a dynamic simulation environment. Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Mentorship:
Coach, teach, and mentor unit intelligence personnel on intelligence analysis methodologies. Guide personnel in producing targeting products and actionable intelligence. Support commanders by informing critical activity awareness and decision-making through realistic intelligence simulations.
Simulation Environment Execution:
Deliver intelligence simulation support using government-furnished software and hardware configured to exercise control plans. Provide stimulation to C4I systems to meet the specific objectives of each training exercise.
Technical Operations:
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, security controls, and simulation software. Apply a strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networks and protocols to enable system interoperability and effective training delivery.
Travel:
Participate in training events and exercises conducted at various locations across CONUS and OCONUS military sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) required.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of military experience. At least three (3) years of experience with Army training using computer simulations. Command or equivalent functional experience at the O-6 level (e.g., Defense Attach, Program Manager). Completion of Military Education Level (MEL) 1, equivalent to Senior Service Staff College. 20+ years of total military service preferred.
Security Clearance:
Must possess a current SECRET clearance or higher.
