Inpatient Department Intake Counselor Opportunity
Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. PVBH is an 84-bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. PVBH has an excellent reputation as an innovative hospital with caring, dedicated staff, experienced in the delivery of behavioral healthcare. Situated in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, PVBH is minutes to Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic intake counselor/clinician. Qualifications: Education: Master's degree in counseling, psychology or human services field, licensed RN or Masters in Social Work. Experience: Clinical assessment, evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Familiarity with psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
