The Practice Manager is responsible for the overall operational excellence of assigned clinic locations, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments including front desk, scheduling, billing, and clinical operations. This leader plays a pivotal role in driving efficiency, enhancing patient experience, and supporting the practice's clinical providers through strong staff leadership and operational oversight. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the entire clinic, ensuring all departments function cohesively and efficiently. Ensure optimal patient flow and clinic efficiency by coordinating front desk, scheduling, and clinical activities. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and company policies. Develop, implement, and refine workflows to improve operational effectiveness and patient satisfaction. Responsible for handling cash, checks, and bank deposits. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage administrative and clinical staff including front desk personnel, technicians, and support staff. Foster a collaborative and accountable culture that promotes staff engagement and professional growth. Financial Oversight: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the clinic. Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including patient access, appointment utilization, billing efficiency, and staff productivity. Work closely with billing and revenue cycle teams to ensure timely and accurate claims submission and collections. Patient Experience: Ensure a high standard of patient service from check-in to check-out. Address and resolve patient complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with clinical leadership to enhance patient-centered care and quality outcomes. Scheduling & Resource Allocation: Supervise and optimize provider and staff schedules to meet patient demand and maximize efficiency. Ensure appropriate staffing levels based on volume and provider schedules. Technology & Compliance: Oversee use of practice management systems, EHRs, and other digital tools. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Requirements: Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum 3+ years of healthcare management experience, preferably in an ophthalmology or multi-specialty medical practice. Proven leadership ability across multiple operational areas in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of medical office operations, clinical workflows, and patient services. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in EHR systems and Microsoft Office. Additional Details: This is a Full-Time position located in Lakewood, CO. Compensation for this role will be $80,000- $100,000 annually based on experience/certifications.
