Warehouse Shift Manager

We are looking to add a Site Ops Coordinator to our Commercial team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Area Operations Manager to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met. 22 hourly union and non-union warehouse associates. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a candidate based in Metro, NY. Additional responsibilities include: Lead and supervise unionized warehouse staff including utility workers, maintenance, and porters during 1st shift Manage all inbound activities including trailer unloads, putaway coordination, and dock scheduling Ensure timely and accurate SAP (preferably S/4HANA) postings for receipts and inventory movements Work closely with Site Ops Coordinators and Inventory Control team to resolve discrepancies and variances Track, monitor, and report on shift productivity, inventory flow, and receiving accuracy Escalate operational or SAP issues to Site Ops Manager or Inventory Lead with documented context Ensure full shift coverage, team accountability, and compliance with safety and quality standards Support audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes tied to daily receipts Document shift issues, generate shift logs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives The Perfect Blend: Experience Hands-on experience with SAP systems (S/4HANA preferred) Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and basic data analysis Experience leading hourly or unionized teams in high-volume environments Ability to communicate clearly and escalate issues appropriately Experience in food & beverage, DSD, or consumer goods distribution Proficiency in basic data reporting and root cause analysis Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Familiarity with OSHA or warehouse safety programs Foundational Ingredients: Requirements 5+ years of warehouse management experience Experience working within Union environment Someone who is a self starter Willingness to work onsite in our Whitestone, NY Plant 4:00 AM
