Assembly Operator
Job Summary: The Assembly Operator assembles product or materials by using hand tools, fixtures, adhesives, and fasteners to specific standards in a safe and efficient manner to produce product, parts and/or materials according to production standards and schedules. Duties/Responsibilities: Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. 0-1 years of experience. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing in a heavy machinery facility. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
