It Director
Reporting to the Executive Director of IT Operations, the IT Director leads the technical team responsible for IT service delivery, ensuring excellent customer service and alignment with college-wide policies and goals. This role supports budgeting, project management, and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities Lead and support IT operations and service delivery across the assigned area Act as the main point of contact between campus leadership and the Office of IT (OIT) Provide guidance on tech services outside OITs scope and engage support staff when needed Maintain a strong customer service culture Manage hardware/software assets and change control processes Supervise and coach IT support staff Oversee IT budgeting and spending Lead team projects using best practices in project management Monitor and resolve helpdesk requests within service level agreements Collaborate with system and network administrators to meet campus needs Escalate issues to statewide teams when necessary Represent IT on campus boards or committees when appropriate We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree in an IT related field required. Three to five years supervisory experience supporting IT environments, including but not limited to management of a team, hardware asset management, budget management, configuration management, and software distribution. Understand the enterprise interrelation of IT components, wired and wireless networks, VoIP, Active Directory, LDAP, information security, familiarity with advanced desktop management tools, and advanced IT trouble-shooting skills.
